There is more to learning to discern the voice of Jesus Christ than saying you know what I sound like in your head.
You don’t spend much time contemplating very many things outside of the music you listen to in your mind.
Let go of the thoughts in your head about the hundreds of tasks you need to complete every day.
There is a time for everything you have to do, but you have to choose what task you will work on every day.
I should not have to repeat myself about holding onto extraneous thoughts of what you have to do today.
You are the guy who takes care of the work you need to do proficiently.
This time in the morning or at any time you are writing these words, you should be turning your attention to me.
You have learned how to hear what I am saying very well and can think of other things while listening to what I say.
I am bringing your awareness of my presence while you are working, so you have learned to hear me when you work.
Take the time to embrace the peace of our formal conversations while writing these words with me every day.
